This research aims to examine the principle of temporal determination in international commercial contracts as a fundamental guarantee for ensuring the stability of commercial transactions and strengthening mutual trust between contracting parties. The central problem lies in the scope of party autonomy in such contracts and the extent to which it is governed by private international law، along with the resulting legal and practical challenges that affect the performance of contractual obligations. The study adopts an analytical methodology by analyzing relevant legal texts and doctrinal opinions، The research concludes that temporal determination plays a pivotal role in regulating international commercial contracts and ensuring their flexibility and continuity، thereby reinforcing the principle of party autonomy while balancing the interests of the contracting parties
