Artificial Intelligence and the European Union: A Look at Security Threats and Ways to Deal With Them

This article review aims to analyze the role of artificial intelligence in addressing security threats in the European Union. It does so by providing a comprehensive look at the concept of AI and its security applications, as well as exploring the nature of contemporary security threats, which are no longer limited to the military aspect but also extend to political, social, environmental, and economic dimensions. The researchers used an analytical approach divided into two main sections. The first section dealt with the conceptual framework of AI and its various definitions, describing it as a branch of computer science capable of simulating human behavior and solving complex problems. The second section focused on how these technologies are used within the EU to address external security threats.
