Environmental pollution and its future effects on sustainable development

Abstract

The research aims to study the issue of environmental pollution and its consequences on Iraqi society in particular, and on sustainable development in general. In doing so, the researcher based on theoretical observation of the special laws supporting the environment and its sources in Iraq and secondary sources examined the effects of environmental pollution in Iraq. The results show that the environmental problems in it in general are many and varied nature, caused by the interaction of man with nature (the environment) for exploitation in several ways - both in cities, where industrial activities predominate, and in rural areas; Where agriculture thrives.
